Pensacola Pier Alterations, Naval Air Station

Work included demolition of an existing concrete pier, several dolphins, portions of existing concrete and steel bulkheads, three existing buildings and miscellaneous surface and subsurface features so as to facilitate the required new construction. The new construction included approximately 825' of concrete pile-supported relieving platform-type bulkhead, concrete dolphins and catwalks, a platform and salt water pump enclosure, wood dolphins, a fender system, mooring devices, a utility trench riprap, and dredging/debris removal adjacent to the new bulkhead.
